The Grenada Birding Club (Birding 101) is a community initiative led by Gaea Conservation Network members and directors. We are dedicated to exploring and appreciating Grenada’s rich avian diversity. Our club welcomes birders of all experience levels, from complete beginners to seasoned enthusiasts. We organize regular birding walks, educational workshops, and citizen science activities that contribute to bird conservation efforts across Grenada. Through hands-on field experiences and educational programs, we aim to foster a deeper connection with nature while building local capacity for bird monitoring and conservation.

We offer guided birding walks and field trips to various habitats across Grenada, beginner-friendly birding workshops and identification training, citizen science bird monitoring projects, educational programs for schools and community groups, and mentorship opportunities for new birders. We also provide equipment lending for binoculars and field guides, and coordinate with conservation organizations on bird-related research and monitoring activities.

We welcome birding enthusiasts of all skill levels who are passionate about birds and nature conservation. We offer opportunities to learn bird identification, participate in citizen science projects, join regular field trips, and contribute to local bird conservation efforts. We provide training, equipment access, and a supportive community for developing birding skills. We are seeking volunteer trip leaders, educational workshop facilitators, partnerships with schools and community organizations, funding for equipment and transportation, and collaboration opportunities with conservation groups and researchers.
