Managing Anxiety
This one-hour, eight-week series is designed to empower women (age 24-40) to develop an understanding of what anxiety is in their lived experience, identify their triggers, and build skills to help them manage and work through their anxiety.
Sessions will be facilitated by licensed clinical community psychologist, Nicole Johnson-James.
Interested participants are invited to provide a contact phone number to The Connection so that they can be contacted by the facilitator to determine needs and availability.

Great Reference & Fascinating Browse

Caribbean Spice Island Plants is an annotated catalogue and photo guide of the trees, shrubs and climbers of Grenada, Carriacou and Petit Martinique. Authors William D. Hawthorne, Dean Jules and Guido Marcelle complied the material, published in 2004. This book offers readers insight into the plant life on the island, with both botanical and local names, notes for identification, uses, and more. The book is available from Forestry (opposite the Stadium) at $80 for the paperback and $100 for the hardcover. Cheque or cash only. Book sale hours are 8:30am to 3:30pm weekdays.
